| F. C. C. Once again stole the show at this year's fourth of July Parade in Elgin. The music performed by our very own Blue Tulip Wranglers had the crowd clapping and singing along! Fun was had by all and our float helped get the word out about F. C. C. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a success! On March 7, the Illinois State Historical Society recognized FCC for our religious, cultural, civic, and moral heritage and certified us as an Illinois Sesquicentennial Church. | Our Redeemer Free Methodist | (847) 695-8555 |
| Our Redeemer was established in 1866 as one of the early Free Methodist congregations. Free Methodists spoke against slavery, promoted liberty in worship, and taught liberty from measuring your life by what you own. The church held services originally on Villa Street in downtown Elgin. Room to grow was limited so in 1974 land was purchased along route 58 and a new building built in 1978. Pastor Jeff Suits has been the senior pastor from 1990-2010.www.elginfmc.org 1323 Sumitt Street, Elgin IL, 60120 |

| St Sophia Greek Orthodox Chr | (847) 888-2822 |
| As a young and rapidly growing community serving Orthodox Christians in the Elgin/Fox Valley area, we've been Blessed with so much. By the Grace of God we enjoy a pretty Church. Its numerous programs are explained within this web page. The greatest sign of appreciation and thanksgiving towards the Lord, is to pass our Orthodox Faith onto our kids. We must preserve, enhance, build and make secure the present and future of Christ's Holy Church.st-sophia.com 525 Church Road, Elgin IL |
