In 1986 when George Pulice, President of Elliotts' Off Broadway Deli. Converted a bowling alley coffee shop in Downers Grove, Illinois into a popular deli restaurant, the 1st Elliotts Off Broadway Deli was born. The New York deli theme restaurant became a hit, particularly with the fast-paced lunch crowd who speedily discovered Elliotts' range of fresh prepared sandwiches, daily specials, hearty soups, bagels, desserts, and other goodies all this and fast service too! The decor was equally enticing with colorful tiffany lamps, Casablanca fans, and old-time movie posters.
